Porcelain Veneers in Delhi

A porcelain veneer is a thin ceramic cover placed on the front of a tooth. It is made to fit one tooth and is fixed with strong dental cement. Before placing it, the dentist removes a very thin layer of enamel so the tooth does not look bulky. At Keynu, the veneers are planned tooth by tooth by our dental team, and the shells are made in a lab to the shape and shade you agreed to before anything is fixed on.

WHO IT'S FOR

Benefits of Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are used for healthy teeth that have problems with shape, colour or small gaps. Any decay, gum problem or loose filling must be treated first. Very crooked teeth usually need braces or aligners because veneers only change how the front of the tooth looks. People who grind their teeth can still get veneers, but they may also need a night guard.

The technology

How Porcelain Veneers technology actually works

The dentist first scans your prepared teeth. A dental lab then makes thin ceramic veneers that are strong enough for daily use. During fitting, the inside of each veneer and the tooth surface are prepared so the cement can hold firmly. A bonding liquid and dental cement are applied, and the veneer is placed carefully on the tooth. Any extra cement is removed, and a blue light is used to harden it. Before you leave, the dentist at Keynu checks your bite to make sure the veneers feel comfortable while chewing.

Most last about 10 to 15 years, and plenty last longer. In one large review of 6,500 veneers, roughly 95 out of 100 were still in place after ten years. The ceramic itself rarely wears out. What brings people back is the glued edge, which can stain or leak with time, and then the veneer is replaced.
